Man Flown To Nashville After Building Supplies Fell On Him

A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after building supplies fell on him on Prosperity Lane Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the man was injured when trusses fell on him at Legacy Metals.

He was treated by Hopkinsville EMS before being taken to a waiting helicopter that will take the 48-year-old  man to a Nashville hospital for head injuries along with a significant ankle injury and suspected back injuries.

Rogers says the man was alert and conscious when he was taken to the waiting helicopter.
