Tennessee Man Identified As Victim In Fatal I-24 Crash

Authorities have released the name of a Tennessee man who was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 24 in Christian County Tuesday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a tractor-trailer driven by 44-year-old Valeros Sanders, of Smyrna, was getting onto Interstate 24 westbound at the 86-mile marker when it ran off the road overturned killing him.

The tractor-trailer was hauling trash when it overturned.

Sanders was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office. His name was released after his family was notified.

The crash happened just before 11 am.
