A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession after a request to check her welfare at the Dollar Tree on Fort Campbell Boulevard Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 36-year-old Heather Ramsey, who was passed out in a vehicle.
While talking with her she reportedly dropped a sock containing suspected drugs on the ground.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
