You will learn to cut in an efficient and accurate manner, seeking to uphold the best quality and consistency possible with every cut. Our butchers learn to cut with care and passion for the product. Responsibility- The Butcher must insure high productivity, quality work, and employee safety. You will be accountable for timely delivery of products, maintaining the cutting room, and keeping a clean, tidy workspace. The Butcher will abide by all facility rules and state laws and regulations and improve work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient cutting room. You will be required to cut and process all products that are needed to meet the customer’s needs. You will be using knives and saws.

Qualifications and Skills-

Physical stamina, lifting ability
Knowledge of meat cutting preferred
Proficiency in basic math and reading skills
Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Work in cold environments
