Hopkins County Woman Faces Drug And Identity Theft Charges

A Madisonville woman was reportedly found in possession of several identification cards and bank cards along with drugs on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were alerted by a city camera about a stolen license plate in the area and located the vehicle and 52-year-old Dawn White at Huck’s. A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and after a search meth along with a bag and smoking pipe with suspected meth residue were found.

Police say in her wallet several identification cards, bank cards, and checks that belong to other people were found.

She was arrested and charged with possession of meth, theft of a motor vehicle registration plate, and theft of identity.
