A home on Linda Lane in Trigg County was badly damaged in a fire Sunday morning.
Montgomery firefighters say heavy smoke was coming from the home when they arrived just after 5 am.
The owner of the home was able to get out before firefighters arrived and was checked out by emergency personnel for possible smoke inhalation.
Firefighters say the cause was unknown but the structure suffered a lot of fire and smoke damage.
The home is located at 176 Linda Lane. Montgomery Firefighters were assisted by Cadiz and East Golden Pond Fire Departments.
