Police are investigating after a report of shots fired before a crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard Monday night.Hopkinsville Police say several shots were heard around 9 pm just before a wreck at the intersection with Eagle Way Bypass.
A man was reportedly taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with a gunshot wound. Police say it’s unclear at this time what led to the shooting.
The crash involved two vehicles, one of which, came to rest on its side in the middle of Eagle Way.
The intersection will remain closed for several hours as police investigate.
